Artificial intelligence for your SME, without the jargon

Free assessment: we show you what AI really does for a Moroccan SME — read, sort, draft, understand your clients — and where to start, concretely.

This page is part of our guide to business automation for SMEs in Morocco.

AI for an SME, without the jargon

You hear “artificial intelligence” everywhere, often with vague promises. In an SME, AI isn't a robot that replaces your teams: it's assistance on tasks that, until now, only a human could do — reading a document, understanding a message, sorting, drafting. The machine doesn't “think” for you; it takes on the repetitive, language-based part of the work, so your people keep their time and judgement for what matters. The real question isn't “do we need AI?”, it's “which tasks, in your business, would benefit from being assisted?”.

What AI concretely does for you

No magic — precise uses, set up according to your needs:

Understand your clients' messagesread a request in natural language, grasp its meaning, and reply or route it.
Read and extract documentspull the right information from an invoice, a purchase order or a PDF, without manual re-keying.
Draft first versionsa first draft of an email, a reply or a report, that you just review and adjust.
Qualify and sortdistinguish a serious request from a simple question, prioritise, and direct it to the right person.
Summarisecondense a long thread of messages or a document to the essentials, in a few lines.

Understanding your clients' messages, for example, is the heart of our WhatsApp chatbot. The common thread: these are language and reading tasks — the ones where classic rules fail and AI genuinely adds something.

AI or simple rules?

Not every task needs AI. For a sequence of fixed, predictable steps — “when X happens, do Y” — classic rule-based automation is enough, and it's even more robust and cheaper. That's what we do with tools like n8n. AI comes into play when you need to understand language or judge a context that doesn't fit fixed rules. In practice, we often combine the two: rules for the mechanics, AI for the part that requires understanding. We choose the right tool for each task — not the other way around.

What AI doesn't replace

Let's be honest about the limits, because they're part of a well-designed system. AI assists, but it's sometimes wrong, and it doesn't have your knowledge of the business or your clients. That's why, on decisions that carry weight — a quote, a sensitive complaint, a legal point — a human always keeps control. Using AI well isn't about delegating judgement to it: it's about entrusting it with the volume and the repetition, so your teams can focus on the decisions. A system built without a human safeguard isn't a good system.

Your data

As soon as a system reads your documents or exchanges, the data question arises — and the answer depends on where the AI model runs. A self-hosted model (in Morocco or on your own infrastructure) keeps the processing with you; a model called at a cloud provider abroad means data passes outside Morocco, which constitutes a transfer. Law 09-08 governs that transfer, not mere hosting. We choose the option with you depending on your sensitivity, and tell you the corresponding CNDP formalities before starting — rather than promising you by default that “nothing leaves Morocco”.

We apply it to ourselves

We won't show you client logos (our confidentiality agreements forbid it). But our own prospecting runs on the automation systems we build — that's our best demonstration.

Frequently asked questions

Will AI replace my employees?

No. It takes on the repetitive and language-based part of the work (reading, sorting, drafting) to give time back to your teams. Decisions and judgement stay human.

We're a small structure — is this for us?

Yes. We don't start from a big “AI” project, but from one or two concrete tasks that cost you time. We automate where it's profitable, with no IT department or big budget.

What's the difference between AI and classic automation?

Classic automation follows fixed rules (“if X, then Y”). AI steps in when you need to understand language or judge a context. Often, we combine the two.

Does AI make mistakes?

Yes, like any tool. That's why we keep a human on decisions that carry weight, and design systems with safeguards rather than as a black box.

What about my data?

Depending on the model used — self-hosted in Morocco / on your infra, or via a cloud provider abroad — the processing may constitute a transfer. We choose with you and tell you the formalities (CNDP, law 09-08) before starting.
